We're looking for a Senior Community & Content Specialist who can join our team and help us grow communities on Reddit for medium and large brands.

Most brands learn the hard way that you can't market to Reddit. You have to write for it. We've spent almost 20 years getting that right.

Job functions

We are looking for someone who understands the difference between being a helpful human in a thread and being a brand account that's pretending to be one. Someone who sees the small openings to represent a client without breaking the community's rules or its trust. Someone who thinks about what a piece of content is supposed to do, not what the brief says to do.

This role isn't about gaming karma or churning out promotional posts. It's about making brands more Reddit-like. Helping them join conversations they should be part of. Finding creative angles that make moderators smile instead of reaching for the ban button.

What you'll actually do

- Run multiple enterprise client accounts at the same time (real brands, real budgets)
- Build content strategies that communities upvote because they're genuinely useful
- Develop relationships with subreddit moderators the right way, respecting their communities
- Work with brands to produce content audiences actually want to engage with
- Turn engagement data into insights that shape what we do next
- Set the visible quality standard for content on the team
- Work directly with our Reddit Team Manager and our Senior Account Executive

Qualifications and requirements

- 4–5 years building communities. The platform doesn't matter to us. Discord, niche forums, Substack, Quora, Reddit, or communities you've grown yourself all count equally. What matters is that you've actually done it well
- Exceptional writing and the ability to switch between brand voices cleanly
- Independence. You don't need hand-holding
- An analytical mind that turns observations into action
- You pick up new tools fast and don't wait to be shown
- Exceptional written English

AI is fine for research and brainstorming. Every word that goes live is written by you. If it reads like ChatGPT wrote it, it doesn't ship.

Desirable skills

Hands-on experience on Reddit
Background in editorial, brand journalism, or content for agency
Familiarity with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and how content surfaces in AI-generated search
Comfort with social listening or community analytics tools
Experience writing for multiple brand voices at the same time
A vertical you know deeply (tech, fintech, e-commerce, consumer)
